Welcome to ONLY EV RENT ! By renting a vehicle from us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
### 1. *Eligibility Requirements*
– Drivers must be *25 years of age or older* to rent a vehicle.
– A valid driver’s license issued by the customer’s country of residence is required.
– Renters must present a *major credit card* (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover) in their name at the time of rental. Debit cards, prepaid cards, or cash are not accepted for the initial rental transaction.
– Additional restrictions may apply based on location, vehicle type, or other factors.
### 2. *Rental Agreement*
– The rental agreement is a legally binding contract between the renter and ONLY EV RENT.
– The renter agrees to return the vehicle in the same condition as it was rented, on the specified date, time, and location.
– Extensions to the rental period must be approved by ONLY EV RENT in advance.
### 3. *Insurance and Liability*
– The renter is responsible for any damage to or loss of the vehicle during the rental period.
– ONLY EV RENT offers optional insurance coverage for an additional fee. Renters are encouraged to review their personal insurance policies or credit card benefits to determine if additional coverage is necessary.
– ONLY EV RENT is not liable for any personal belongings left in the vehicle.
### 4. *Prohibited Uses*
– The vehicle may not be used for any illegal purposes, including but not limited to:
– Transporting illegal substances.
– Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
– Off-road driving or racing.
– The vehicle may not be operated by anyone other than the authorized renter or additional drivers listed on the rental agreement.
### 5. *Fuel Policy*
– The vehicle must be returned with the same level of fuel as at the time of rental. Failure to do so will result in refueling charges at a premium rate.
### 6. *Traffic Violations and Tolls*
– The renter is responsible for all traffic violations, tolls, and parking fines incurred during the rental period.
-ONLY EV RENT may charge an administrative fee for processing violations.
### 7. *Cancellations and No-Shows*
– Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.
– No-shows will be charged a fee equivalent to one day’s rental.
### 8. *Additional Charges*
– Additional charges may apply for:
– Late returns.
– Cleaning fees for excessive dirt or stains.
– Smoking in the vehicle (a cleaning fee will be charged).
– Loss or damage to keys, GPS devices, or other accessories.
### 9. *Dispute Resolution*
– Any disputes arising from this rental agreement shall be governed by the laws of French Polynesia.
– Renters agree to resolve disputes through arbitration or small claims court, as applicable.
